For 70 years, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been serving meals, offering shelter and hope and providing healing to the Pittsburgh Community. The Rescue offers transparency to the complex issues of homelessness, addiction and abuse. Financial Essentials is proud to be partnering with Light of Life Rescue Mission to continue help those in need.

When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their safety, they are usually brought to a child welfare services office to await placement. This wait can be a few hours to several days. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and in dirty clothing. Financial Essentials is happy to partner with Isaiah 117 House of Butler, which provides a comforting home where these children can be brought to wait – a place that is safe, where friendly and loving volunteers provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. They give children the care they need while awaiting placement. We highlighted Isaiah 117 at our Client Appreciation Luau event.
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Butler County provides a supportive, compassionate, and healing space where child victims of abuse are heard. They provide a child-focused facility where representatives from many disciplines, including child protection, law enforcement, behavioral health, medical providers, and victim advocates work together to conduct interviews and make team decisions related to the investigation of child abuse, treatment, management, and prosecution of child abuse. We highlighted the Children’s Advocacy Center at our 35th Anniversary Murder Mystery Client Appreciation event.
We were delighted to support our 2026 summer interns, Jacob and Hayden, as they traveled to serve others in the Guatemalan local community by distributing food, praying with families, and sharing their faith.
They witnessed people begin their relationship with Jesus, experienced healings, and encouraged families. We’re proud of them and grateful to invest in their future as they continue to grow, serve, and make a difference in the lives of others.
